Watch the Full Case Study on YouTube: How I Made $34,764.25 with The Big Five

If you’re serious about launching a successful digital product, you’ll want to check out my in-depth case study where I break down my launch of “The Big Five”.

In this video, I walk you through every step of the process, from product creation to post-launch strategies.

You’ll see how I generated $34,764.25 in revenue, the exact methods I used to achieve these results, and the lessons I learned along the way.

Whether you’re a beginner or have launched products before, this case study will provide valuable insights and actionable tips to help you succeed.

  1. Start with a High-Quality Product

First and foremost, your product must solve a real problem. Whether it’s a course, software, or an eBook, make sure it’s something your audience genuinely needs.

A product that effectively addresses pain points will naturally attract buyers and affiliates.

Quality is crucial here (Or it Should be).

Ensure that your content is polished and professional. Videos should be well-edited, PDFs should be free of typos, and everything should work smoothly.

Remember, your product is a reflection of your brand—putting out something subpar can damage your reputation.

  1. Know Your Target Audience

Understanding your target audience is essential.

You need to know who you’re selling to, what their pain points are, and how your product can help them.

This knowledge will guide every decision you make, from pricing to marketing.

Research your competitors to see what they’re offering and how you can stand out.

Differentiation is key—whether it’s through unique features, better value, or more effective marketing, you need to offer something that your competitors don’t.

  1. Develop a Smart Pricing Strategy

Pricing can make or break your launch.

Set a price that reflects the value of your product while remaining competitive.

It’s also a good idea to offer multiple pricing tiers—such as a basic, standard, and premium version of your product.

This approach not only increases your chances of converting more customers but also allows you to capture a wider audience.

  1. Build a Strong Sales Funnel

Your sales funnel is the journey your customers will take from discovering your product to making a purchase.

A well-structured funnel includes upsells, downsells, and cross-sells that complement your main product.

This strategy can significantly boost your average transaction value.

Your sales page is the heart of your funnel.

Make sure it’s optimized with compelling copy, clear benefits, and strong calls to action.

Include testimonials, case studies, and any other social proof to build trust and credibility.

  1. Prepare Your Marketing Materials

Effective marketing is essential for a successful launch.

Start by creating an engaging promo video that highlights the key benefits of your product.

A well-crafted video can capture attention and drive conversions.

Additionally, prepare email swipe files for your affiliates.

These are pre-written emails that affiliates can use to promote your product to their lists.

Make it as easy as possible for them to share your product with their audience.

  1. Recruit Affiliates Early (and be ready to do a bit of ass kissing)

Affiliates are the lifeblood of platforms like Warrior Plus, Jvzoo and ClickBank.

They can dramatically increase your reach and sales, so it’s important to recruit them early.

Building relationships with potential affiliates before your launch is key.

Connect with them on social media, participate in relevant forums, and attend online events where they’re likely to be.

Offer attractive commissions to incentivize affiliates to promote your product.

Remember, the easier you make it for them to succeed, the more likely they are to give your product the push it needs.

  1. Plan Your Launch Sequence

A well-planned launch sequence can create excitement and anticipation around your product.

Start with a pre-launch phase where you tease your product and build hype.

This can include sneak peeks, early access offers, or even a countdown timer leading up to the official launch.

Consider doing a soft launch to a smaller audience first.

This allows you to test everything out and gather valuable feedback before the full launch.

Once you’ve ironed out any issues, you can move forward with the official launch, using all the marketing power you’ve built up.

  1. Provide Top-Notch Customer Support

Good customer support is crucial, especially during a product launch.

Make sure you have a system in place to handle any questions or issues that arise.

This could be a help desk, a dedicated email support team, or a live chat feature.

Prepare an FAQ section that addresses common concerns.

This not only saves time but also helps build trust with your customers.

  1. Ensure Compliance

Compliance with legal and platform-specific regulations is critical.

Ensure your sales copy, product claims, and marketing materials adhere to Warrior Plus or ClickBank policies, as well as any legal requirements related to advertising, privacy, and data protection.

For instance, if you’re targeting a European audience, you’ll need to comply with GDPR regulations.

Failure to do so can result in fines or your product being removed from the platform.

  1. Analyze and Adapt Post-Launch

Once your product is live, the work doesn’t stop.

Monitor your launch’s performance closely—track sales, conversions, and affiliate activity.

Use this data to optimize your strategy for future launches.

Gathering customer feedback is also important.

Find out what your customers liked, what they didn’t, and how you can improve.

This information will be invaluable for your next product launch.

  1. Focus on Longevity

Your launch might be over, but the product’s life cycle is just beginning.

To keep your product relevant, consider creating evergreen content that will continue to provide value over time. Regular updates or new content can also help keep your product fresh and maintain customer interest.

Building a community around your product can also enhance its longevity.

Encourage customers to join a Facebook group, forum, or another online community where they can share experiences, ask questions, and stay engaged with your brand.

Now there are many things that can go wrong or can surprise you during a lunch, if you don’t get the results that you wanted the first time don’t give up.

If your first launch didn’t go as you expected then look at why, after launching many more products after this one in this case study I can say that the two biggest things that can go wrong in a launch are not getting affiliates and not having a high converting sales page.

Before I launched the Big Five I had already sent over a 1000 sales, at least, to other vendors and affiliates so they already knew who I was so that helped when I contacted them to support my launch.

I did that through YouTube Reviews and Website Reviews and I also started to build my email list from the very beginning.

The main thing is if this is what you want to do don’t give up, you will get there in the end.

My next biggest tip if you want to start launching products is to contact other vendors and affiliates and start supporting them, even if that is just by making review videos of their products and sending them a few sales that way.

That way they know you, they see that you are trying to send them sales, be active on social media and like their posts about their launches and maybe comment about the launch.

It’s always better to approach affiliates after sending them some sales rather than approaching them with your hat in your hand and them not knowing who you are.
